We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated college student to join our Water Merchandising team for the summer. In this role, you will support the data entry and processing of merchandising display order requests, helping to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in merchandising operations, order management, and business systems in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Learn and support the current order entry process
- Partner with subject matter experts to review and analyze existing processes
- Help identify and align on opportunities to streamline the order submission process
- Develop updated process documentation
- Support training and presentation of updates to the HOFR US Sales team
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy in data entry tasks
- Proficient typing skills with a focus on speed and precision
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate cross‑functionally
- Experience with SAP or other enterprise order management/ERP systems is a strong plus
- Prior experience in a customer service, administrative, or data entry role
- Familiarity with retail, wholesale, or merchandising operations
- Major or coursework in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $33,300 USD – $45,760 USD. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role‑based sales incentive plan.
