Senior Business Analyst
Insight Global's client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. This project is a key focus area for the FY27 roadmap, operating as a multi-year framework designed to enable multiple business areas within merchandising.
Project Goals
The objective is to streamline, clean up, and redefine both our data definitions and our data architecture so that we have consistency across all the different areas that we utilize. The project aims to establish clear definitions and a designated single source of truth that flows consistently down to all downstream applications. The ultimate architectural goal is to build a true semantic layer in our data architecture such that it's a lot easier to query off of these types of information and data.
Current Challenges
Current merchandising applications utilize concepts such as "brand" and "sub brand," but different systems across Walgreens employ conflicting hierarchies and data definitions. This misalignment forces teams to perform manual cleanups and validations, which slows down our delivery and slows down our business partners' ability to analyze their business.
