SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

RATE OF PAY: $57 per hour and it is a 20 hour limit for the role.
WORK HOURS:
Seasonal and to be determined in collaboration with the Building Principal
PRIOR
EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma and the ability to positively interact with staff and students between the ages of 11 and 14
PLACEMENT:
Caruso Middle School
Oversees the technical audio and lighting needs of the show while training a student tech team to run equipment. This position works in tandem with the Music Director and Assistant Director to balance sound, highlight staging, and support the overall flow of the performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Execution:
Coordinate lighting setup, light cues, sound equipment, and microphone placement. - Student Technical Mentorship:
Train students to run lighting controls, manage sound boards, and handle backstage technical needs. - Team
Collaboration:
Work alongside the Music Director to balance vocal/instrumental audio and with the Assistant Director to synchronize light cues with performer movements. - Equipment Oversight:
Maintain and safely operate production lighting, microphones, and sound systems alongside the student crew.
