North Shore Center for Oral and Facial Surgery (NSCOFS) is seeking a detail-oriented Digital Laboratory Technician to join our elite surgical team. We aren t just a lab; we are a full-scope Oral & Maxillofacial Center specializing in complex reconstructions and advanced dental implantology.
The Role:
Digital Mastery
As our Digital Lab Tech, you will be the engine behind our digital workflow. You won’t just be "making teeth"—you will be designing the surgical foundations and aesthetic outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Digital Workflow Management:
Leading the end-to-end digital process. - Surgical Design:
Designing and fabricating precise surgical guides. - Full Arch Specialist:
Printing and customizing high-quality full arch temporary prostheses. - Restorative Components:
Fabricating temporary crowns and custom healing abutments. - Clinical
Collaboration:
Assisting our surgeons with the fabrication and delivery of final full arch prostheses. - Protective & Retentive Care:
Fabricating high-quality night guards and Essex retainers.
- Digital Native:
You are proficient in CAD/CAM software (3
Shape, exocad, etc.) and understand the nuances of 3D printing and milling. - Detail-Obsessed:
You understand that in surgical guide design, a millimeter is a mile. - Collaborative:
You enjoy working alongside surgeons in a fast-paced, clinical environment to ensure the best patient outcomes. - Adaptable:
You are excited by the variety of work, from pathology-based reconstructions to cosmetic smile makeovers.
