Established in 1966, the North Shore Montessori Schools have been pioneers in the Montessori movement in the Chicago area as well as in Uganda, Africa through their outreach program. Staff and board members have been active participants in Montessori on the local, state, national and international levels. We are proud of our international community of families and faculty, and together we create an authentic Montessori experience for all.

We are among the few long-time AMS Accredited schools in Illinois. Our schools have upscale, fully equipped, multi-age classrooms and unique facilities in beautiful wooded settings, located in the northern suburbs of Chicago. We are open all year, 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, providing children from 3 months to 12 years of age with half-day, school-day and full-day programs during the school year and summer camp sessions.
