Computer Science Teacher (Part Time 0.2 FTE)

Rochelle Zell Jewish High School, Deerfield, IL.

RZJHS seeks a skilled, passionate Computer Science teacher to teach one section of computer science, meeting twice per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) roughly 1 pm‑2 pm. The section may involve differentiated curriculum utilizing both the AP Computer Science A curriculum and an Introduction to Java curriculum.

• Plan and deliver instruction based on departmentally agreed learning targets.
• Assess student understanding with formative and summative instruments aligned to learning targets.
• Establish and maintain clear expectations for student conduct.
• Demonstrate professional judgment, ethical conduct, and appropriate language/behavior with colleagues, students, and families; follow school policies.

August 10 2026 – June 30 2027

$10,000 – $12,000 based on degree and experience.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferable.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid teaching license in Computer Science (or equivalent subject)
• U.S. citizenship, residency or work visa required.
