Job Objective
Serves as an analyst and accounting liaison for the technical support teams, assists in the assembly and distribution of monthly financial statements, and prepares schedules for the company’s monthly employee meetings.
Essential Responsibilities- Prepare monthly financial reports and manage capital forecast.
- Conduct budget planning, quarterly activity reviews, and research and analysis of expenses.
- Produce cost and production reports for field personnel and collaborate with field personnel on special projects.
- Coordinate monthly employee open‑book management meetings and executive reports.
- Prepare schedules, presentations, and meeting materials for the monthly meetings.
- Manage timely distribution of monthly internal financial reports during the company’s closing process.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare special reports and complete special projects by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information for executive, technical employees, and accountants.
- Assist in developing the annual budget with Asset Teams and Planning & Budgeting.
- Maintain confidentiality of information and employee confidence.
- Maintain technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, and associations.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Adhere to company values, attendance standards, and punctuality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of three (3) years of oil & gas experience.
- Exceptional proficiency in data management and problem solving.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across departments.
- Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities without close supervision.
- High degree of accuracy and precision in tasks and results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate complex financial information into an organized and presentable manner.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); preferred knowledge of SAP and Power
BI report building.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four‑year university or college in accounting, finance, or business.
- Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred.
