Senior Project Accountant

Deerfield, IL | On-site with future 3/2 hybrid flexibility | Full-time

A growing commercial real estate developer with an active construction pipeline across the Midwest is adding a Senior Project Accountant to sit at the center of the construction accounting function.

This is a dedicated construction seat — not a generalist role. You'll own job costing, draw management, and project-level reporting with direct access to our CFO and ownership.

• Job costing and budget tracking across active construction projects in Procore and Yardi
• Monthly construction loan draw packages (AIA schedules, lien waivers, photo logs, lender coordination)
• Retainage tracking and subcontractor pay application management
• Full AP cycle for construction entities
• Month-end close, bank reconciliations, and project-level financial reporting
• SOP documentation and process improvement

• Procore experience highly preferred.
• 3+ years in construction, real estate development, or property management accounting
• Job costing and project-level budget tracking
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Nice to have:
  Yardi Voyager, retainage management, NNN/CAM reconciliation, CPA or CPA candidate
