Asset & Wealth Management - Deerfield - Associate, Sales Support

Job Duties

• Assist advisor team in servicing clients and their families by providing comprehensive personal financial planning, investment planning, and tax services to corporate employees, executives, and other high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Implement complex investment strategies for high‑net‑worth clients, overseeing new account opening, funding, asset transfers, and account maintenance while ensuring compliance with clients’ risk profiles and investment objectives.
• Prepare income tax returns for clients, interface with third‑party tax preparers, and monitor clients’ tax payment obligations.
• Prepare reports and analyses on personal financial statements, cash‑flow planning, income tax projections, insurance reviews, investment allocation, performance, estate document reviews, and estate flowcharts.
• Establish trust and rapport with clients over the phone and in person through open‑ended questioning and inclusive language, building long‑term relationships.
• Maintain extensive telephone and face‑to‑face interaction with clients and outside advisors to onboard new clients, ensuring a seamless client experience and supporting the advisor team.
• Document client files to ensure all communication and service is well documented.
• Conduct individual research on clients’ financial planning questions using internal resources.

• Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Two (2) years of experience in the offered role or a related role.
• Experience working with clients to determine income, expenses, insurance coverage, tax status, financial objectives, risk tolerance, and other information needed to develop a financial plan.
• Experience with tax projections and reviewing withholding and payments for completeness and accuracy.
• Knowledge of financial products including stocks, bonds, mutual funds, ETFs, equity awards, and insurance.
• Experience developing and supporting solutions for client needs in estate planning, taxes, investments, insurance, cash‑flow management, and risk management.
• Applying knowledge of U.S. income tax rules while assisting with individual income tax return preparation for high‑net‑worth individuals.

Annual base salary for this Deerfield, Illinois‑based position is $75,000 – $118,000. May be eligible for a bonus at fiscal‑year end. See benefits summary here:
