Job Summary
This role is key to helping ensure the Treasury Operations team delivers its responsibilities and provides local business support within US hours CST.
Working as part of the Treasury Operations team, this role focuses on key Treasury Operations activities, including global banking portal administration, confirmations, settlements, static data management, and project support.
Job Responsibilities- Develops complex financial models to support management decision‑making related to new product development, product portfolio analysis, profitability of new opportunities, capital investments, revenue models, profit margin analysis, and impact of regulatory changes. Defines financial requirements for new products and features. Analyzes and summarizes the division’s financial statements, expenses, and records.
- Develops recommendations for management decision‑making.
- Performs moderate to complex financial analysis, including conducting research and identifying, designing, and implementing applications and tools to fulfill reporting and analysis needs. Runs scenarios through models and interprets financial impact. Measures financial results against budget and forecast.
- Assists in the development of the long‑range financial plans and continuously analyzes operating financial results. Works closely with other departments within Walgreens to ensure that strategic initiatives are achieved.
- May assist in the development of the annual budget and analyzes actual and budgeted figures on an ongoing basis. Creates and maintains detailed budgeting templates.
- With minimal guidance, assesses analytical tools and data formats, researches and builds programs that incorporate multiple data lines to improve efficiency and analytical depth, and uses statistical analysis software (SAS) when standard tools are insufficient.
- Reviews monthly financial operating results for each assigned business unit, identifying key trends, variances, and areas of improved performance. Works with other departments for account reconciliation.
- Provides information and assistance to management regarding expenditures, purchases, and other costs of doing business.
- Responds to complex request for proposal (RFP) questions related to new business and client renewals, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Performs ad‑hoc analysis and forecasts for internal management team and external customers.
- Provides guidance and training to associate analysts on financial modeling, data extraction techniques, and budgeting; recommends best practices and explains complex data interdependencies.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of experience in an analytical role in finance, accounting, business management, quantitative analysis, or economics; or High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in such a role.
- Experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, profitability analysis, and/or auditing techniques.
- Experience with time‑management skills such as prioritizing, organizing, and tracking details to meet aggressive deadlines on multiple projects.
- Experience with analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions and to drive improvement.
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., applying themes, formatting, inserting pictures, changing slide layout).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Word (e.g., inserting headers, page breaks, adjusting table columns).
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., using SUM, setting borders, inserting charts, text wrap).
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA.
- Treasury or banking experience supporting operations.
- CTP/CFA/CPA certification.
- Experience with banking portals (preferably JPM Access or BOA Cash Pro).
- IT2 ION Treasury systems experience.
- Familiarity with large international Treasury operations.
- Experience developing or maintaining a 13‑week cash forecasting cycle.
- Desire to advance in Corporate Treasury.
- Experience with TMS and electronic banking portals.
- Team mentality and willingness to support non‑core activities.

Salary Range: $79,300 - $127,000 / Salaried. The actual hourly salary within this range that you will be offered will depend on geography, skills, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
