Position:
Registered Nurse, Cardiac Imaging
Location:Bannockburn with site rotation to Highland Park, Gurnee, and Glenview
Role Overview :Provides cardiac stress testing, develops and evaluates individualized care plans, and assesses patient health data. Communicates effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring patient-centered care and education tailored to cultural and learning needs. Supports technical staff with procedures like contrast injections, venipuncture, and IV management. Participates in performance improvement, research, and professional development activities. Maintains compliance with HIPAA and assists in patient transportation when necessary.
Qualifications & Skills:- Nursing Bachelor's degree preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- experience in cardiac imaging and stress testing preferred
- strong critical thinking skills
- Conduct stress tests
- Assess and document patient data
- Educate patients
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Support staff
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
