Job Summary

This role performs activities that impact components of the Walgreens Digital/Online platform in an Agile environment. Work is received in short-term assignments requiring independent judgment. Operates within defined procedures to deliver functionality to digital solutions, products, and programs, typically for small to medium systems. Implements activities influencing entry to mid-level components of the functional area. Demonstrates proficiency in some areas of the professional function.

Job Responsibilities

Performs daily operational activities impacting mid-level components of technology, including coding, deployment monitoring, and compatibility evaluation.

Creates, develops, and maintains software code in an agile environment.

Develops software solutions meeting functionality and quality standards regarding performance, scalability, and reliability.

Analyzes system requirements and uses design documents to understand application functionality.

Participates in design, architecture, and build phases to produce high-quality deliverables.

Provides recommendations for product and environment improvements.

Reviews and maintains sprint tasks and issue tracking.

Supports existing web-based applications and develops new tools.

Resolves problems and communicates effectively with stakeholders.

Coordinates cross-functionally and documents issues and solutions.

May contribute to developing software protocols.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or high school diploma/GED with 4+ years of relevant experience.
Knowledge of coding web or mobile applications.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
Experience analyzing data to identify issues and drive improvements.
Experience in operational issue resolution.
Skills in scripting languages like Bash, Python, Ruby.
Knowledge of automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Terraform, Ansible.
Experience with deployment tools like Containers/Dockers, CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, GCP, and Linux.
Web/backend development skills in Java, Node, .Net, JavaScript, HTML.
Knowledge of modern UI frameworks like React and Angular JS.
Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL, or Mongo

DB.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and mobile development for iOS (Swift, Swift

UI) and Android (Kotlin).
Experience with analytics solutions in cloud platforms and reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau.

Additional Information

We consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records. Salary range: $79,300 - $127,000.
