We are seeking a Manager of Process Management to lead a high-performing team dedicated to designing, optimizing, and delivering flawless workflows that eliminate operational friction and scale business efficiency. Collaborating closely with cross-functional leaders, you will influence strategic outcomes that directly boost the company’s bottom line while leveraging data-driven insights to champion data integrity, establish operational benchmarks, and ensure seamless execution across the enterprise.

Process Manager for Fee Billing: you will lead the team responsible for overseeing the configuration, validation, and execution of the daily fee billing process within the settlement platform. The role ensures accurate fee application across multiple transaction types and leads initiatives to streamline billing workflows, enhance automation, and maintain compliance with internal pricing policies and external partner agreements.

• Daily Operations Leadership:
  Oversee the daily intake, setup, and validation of fee billing forms; ensure timely and accurate fee mapping for transactions; reconcile daily outputs against internal pricing schedules and partner contracts to ensure billing integrity; lead the fee billing team.
• Process Optimization & Automation:
  Drive continuous improvement in billing accuracy, cycle time, and audit readiness.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
  Collaborate with internal teams to ensure fee setups align with contractual terms; serve as the escalation point for complex billing discrepancies and pricing exceptions.
• Documentation & Compliance:
  Maintain audit-ready documentation for all fee setups, including contract packets, enforms, and validation logs; ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
• Mentorship & Training:
  Provide day-to-day guidance to junior analysts and contractors, reviewing their setups and offering coaching on fee standards and billing logic; lead knowledge-sharing sessions and contribute to desk procedures and SOPs.

• Bachelor’s Degree or Military Experience
• At least 5 years of experience in process management
• Preferred:
  Master’s Degree in Business Management, Process Management, Project Management, Risk Management, Communications, Computer Science or Information Systems
• Lean or Six Sigma certification (preferred)

Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position at this time. The salary ranges listed are location-based and apply to full-time roles; part-time roles are prorated. Locations and ranges include:
McLean, VA: $134,400 - $153,300;
Houston, TX: $122,100 - $139,400;
Riverwoods, IL: $122,100 - $139,400. Other locations follow their respective pay ranges as noted in the offer letter.

This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and long-term incentives. Capital One offers a comprehensive benefits package; eligibility varies by status and level. This role is expected to accept applications for a minimum of 5 business days.
