Business Analyst – Digital Commerce & Analytics

Summary:

The Business Analyst supports digital commerce, merchandising, reporting, and analytics initiatives by leveraging data-driven insights to guide strategic decision-making. This role involves mathematical modeling, raw data analysis, and the development of actionable visualizations to assist management in policy formation, performance improvement, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and validate mathematical or simulation models to evaluate business problems and trade-offs.
• Analyze operational data and feedback from management to define, scope, and address business challenges.
• Identify data requirements and validate inputs using statistical methods and domain expertise.
• Create compelling dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings and support strategic decisions.
• Utilize analytical tools and build queries to extract, organize, and interpret complex datasets.
• Deliver actionable insights that enhance e-commerce performance, merchandising strategy, and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics); MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in business analysis, operations research, or a related data-centric role.
• Proficient in data modeling, statistical analysis, and query building using analytical tools.
• Strong understanding of strategic planning, resource allocation, and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills; self-starter with strong attention to detail.
