Role:
Client Partner - Data & AI Transformation Leader
Location:
Deerfield, IL
- Serve as the trusted advisor to the Walgreens Chief Data Officer, aligning Data, Analytics, and AI initiatives with business strategy.
- Drive execution of the Data & AI transformation roadmap, including platform modernization, analytics enablement, and AI adoption.
- Lead executive governance and operating cadence, including leadership reviews, steering committees, QBRs, and decision tracking.
- Own value realization reporting, ensuring measurable outcomes from Data & AI investments through KPIs, ROI, productivity, and cost optimization.
- Develop workforce and talent strategy, including organization design, hiring plans, succession planning, and capability development.
- Establish and mature Data Governance and AI Governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, data quality, security, and responsible AI adoption.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and scale high-value data, analytics, and AI use cases.
- Manage strategic vendor and partner ecosystem relationships, including Databricks, Microsoft, consulting partners, and delivery providers.
- Build and oversee the CDO Transformation Office, providing executive dashboards, risk management, dependency tracking, and program oversight.
- Position Walgreens as a data-driven and AI-enabled enterprise by accelerating innovation, operational efficiency, business insights, and data monetization opportunities. Supported by Walgreens-focused data modernization, AI governance, and capability-building initiatives described in internal transformation materials.
- 18+ years of experience in Data, Analytics, AI, Digital Transformation, or Consulting, with proven success leading enterprise-scale transformation programs and influencing C-suite executives, preferably in Retail, Healthcare, or Consumer industries.
Salary Range: $147,000 - $203,000 a year
