Overview

Alera Group is looking for a Benefits Coordinator for our Employee Benefits Select team. Responsibilities
  • Assist with renewals and marketing by gathering vendor/client information, preparing RFPs, coordinating involved parties, and creating client‑ready proposals; successfully onboard new clients or new lines of coverage with full end‑to‑end ownership
  • Enter and maintain accurate client data in the Agency Management System; monitor key activities and processes to keep stakeholders informed and aligned
  • Coordinate open‑enrollment activities, including preparing presentations and client deliverables, and support overall administrative and technical tasks requiring organization, benefits knowledge, and strong attention to detail
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Life & Health Insurance license required, or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (strong Outlook and Excel), with experience in Zywave/Brokerage Builder preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized, detail‑oriented, able to establish priorities, work independently, multitask, and shift priorities as needed
  • Excellent relationship‑management and customer‑service skills; thrives in and actively contributes to a collaborative team environment
Additional Information

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $50K to 58K per year.
