Trade Compliance Specialist

Hybrid schedule:
Deerfield HQ Tuesday‑Thursday, remote Monday & Friday.

• Assist in preparing and reviewing import documentation for compliance with CBP regulations.
• Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure timely and accurate shipment processing.
• Support product classification using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS).
• Maintain customs data in ERP systems, including HTS codes and country of origin.
• Track and monitor import shipments for timely customs clearance.
• Participate in post‑entry audits and internal compliance reviews.
• Maintain proper recordkeeping in accordance with CBP requirements.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and product information.
• Stay current on trade regulations and participate in training sessions.

• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in customs compliance, logistics, or international trade.
• Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations and HTSUS.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the trade compliance field.
• Proficient experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders.
• High understanding of free trade agreements, country of origin rules, or duty drawback programs.
• Obtained or in process of obtaining a Customs Broker License (CLB) is preferred.

Base salary range: $56,000 USD – $85,000 USD, with additional annual bonus or role‑based sales incentive. Benefits include robust health plans, a market‑leading 401(k) with company contribution, product discounts, flexible time off, adoption benefits, and ERGs.
