This role is ideal for a media planning leader who thrives at the intersection of data, audiences, and omnichannel execution
. As Associate Manager, Media Planning
, you’ll own the end-to-end planning process for a portfolio of pharmacy and healthcare advertisers—developing audience-led media strategies, guiding junior planners, and ensuring flawless execution across digital and in-store channels.
You’ll partner closely with sales, analytics, execution, and insights teams to deliver measurable outcomes
, while navigating the complexity of regulated healthcare marketing
.
- Lead the day-to-day development and management of audience- and insight-led media plans
- Review, manage, and respond to RFPs
, providing strategic guidance to sales partners - Build high-performing omnichannel media strategies across:
- Paid social
- Search
- Translate client business goals into clear digital and media objectives
- Formulate, write, and present media proposals and campaign recommendations
- Insertion orders
- Ad specifications
- Billing reconciliation
- Partner with Media Execution and Analytics teams to monitor performance and optimise results
- Collaborate with Insights teams on audience targeting and measurement strategy
- Supervise and support the day-to-day workflow of Media Planners and Senior Media Planners
- Contribute to process improvement and innovation initiatives across the media planning function
- Stay current on media marketplace trends
, emerging channels, and healthcare advertising opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of omni-channel media planning experience
- or High School / GED with 4+ years of omni-channel media planning experience
- Hands-on experience with digital media channels
, including: - Paid social
- Search
- Retail / in-store media
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, agile mindset
- Experience building full-funnel media plans (audience, message, channel, measurement)
- Background in healthcare and/or pharmaceutical advertising
, including regulated environments - Experience supporting or indirectly managing team members (training, task allocation, coaching)
- Familiarity with annual brand budgets and P&L concepts (revenue, margin, operating expenses)
- Proven success working in cross-functional, matrixed organisations
- Exposure to high-impact pharmacy and healthcare advertisers
- Strong blend of strategy, execution, and people leadership
