Registered Nurse – Primary Care PEDS

Deerfield, IL

Full Time (40 hours per week), 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

• Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
• Perform phone triage and respond to patient inquiries
• Manage test results and coordinate medication refills
• Obtain prior authorizations for medical services
• Convey plans of care to patients and provide patient education/teaching
• Review and respond to North Shore Connect messages from patients
• Chart patient encounters in Epic, our electronic medical record system
• Travel to other sites as needed based on departmental requirements

• Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois
• Graduate of a National League for Nursing (NLN) accredited nursing school; BSN preferred
• BLS/CPR certification for healthcare providers
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting
