School Social Worker, Child Development/Support

This contract position begins August 5, 2026, and runs through May 12, 2027, offering a fulfilling opportunity to work closely with a diverse student body. You will help address student needs on a manageable caseload of 20-30 children, working collaboratively with educators and families to foster students academic, social, and emotional growth.
This role provides 37.5 hours per week across five days for a healthy work-life balance. Compensation for this position ranges from $45-$55 per hour, paid weekly.
- Current Professional Educator License (PEL) required
- Experience as a school social worker or working within educational settings preferred
- Strong communication, case management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with K-12 students, staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting student well-being and academic success
- Provide individualized and group counseling services to students
- Conduct social-emotional assessments and create intervention plans
- Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to identify student needs
Support students in crisis, implement prevention programs, and coordinate referrals to outside resources - Maintain accurate case notes and adhere to confidentiality standards
