Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack (Java, Spring, AWS) – Global Payment Network

Join Capital One as a Senior Software Engineer in the Global Payment Network, Digital Payments team. You’ll support Token Vault applications, collaborate on technical designs, and help modernize our systems from On‑Prem to AWS Open Shift.

• Collaborate across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support full‑stack solutions.
• Stay current on tech trends, experiment with new technologies, and mentor others.
• Work with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud‑based solutions that empower millions of Americans.
• Utilize JavaScript, Java, HTML/CSS, Type Script, SQL, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes and AWS services.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply)

• 5+ years of experience in one of the following:
  JavaScript, Java, Type Script, SQL, Python, Go
• 1+ year of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 3+ years in open‑source frameworks
• 2+ years in Agile practices

Chicago, IL: $147,100 – $167,900

McLean, VA: $161,800 – $184,600

Riverwoods, IL: $147,100 – $167,900

This role is eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation and long‑term incentives.
