Facilities maintenance engineer

Are you a skilled engineer with a passion for keeping facilities running at peak performance? We’re looking for a proactive and experienced Facilities Maintenance / Site Services Engineer to join our team at a thriving commercial site.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining, improving, and safeguarding the infrastructure that keeps our operations moving.

Key Responsibilities:

* Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct routine inspections and servicing of equipment and building systems.

* Repairs & Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and fix issues across electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general infrastructure.

* System Upgrades:
Recommend and implement improvements for efficiency and performance.

* Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all systems meet health and safety standards and maintain accurate records.

* Documentation & Reporting:
Log all maintenance activities and generate reports on facility conditions.

* Emergency Response:
Respond swiftly to urgent issues to minimise disruption and ensure safety.

What We’re Looking For:

* Electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or City & Guilds)

* Completed trade apprenticeship with 5+ years’ experience

* Strong technical knowledge of building services and automation systems

* Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail

* Clear communication and reporting skills
