Risk Manager/Analyst
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible foradministrationof a portfolio of troubled and/or distressed commercial and commercial real estate credits.
The primary duties of this position include developing and implementing credit administration strategies that minimize the Bank's potential loss on each assigned credit.
This position requires a thorough knowledge of commercial credit underwriting and commercial collection practices, and the ability to effectively negotiate appropriate exitor remediation strategies with borrowers.
This position works closely with Bank management, lendingstaffand legal counsel to protect the Bank's interests and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Reviews loan files upon assignment to understand the transaction and circumstances.
Takes appropriate actionto enforce the bank's rights or position with respect to the loan and collateral.
Discusses issues with supervisor, other management personnel, and/or legal counsel to develop strategies and solutions.
Documents loan files with respect to actions taken and pertaining toeach assigned account.
Works with third parties when appropriate todispose of collateral.
Interacts with anddirectthe activities of commercial banking officers on accounts that are being handled on a shared responsibility basis.
Reviews,analyzes and interprets financial statements, perform cashflowand personal financial statement analysis in order toassess the financial strength of a borrower.
Responds to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations relating to collections and/or workouts andensurethat the Bank's policies and procedures are compliant with the same.
Develops and implements credit administration strategies that minimize the Bank's potential loss.
Works with department management, Executive Management, Credit Officers and legal counsel to ensure assigned accounts are managedin accordance with
Bank's Credit Policy and applicable laws and regulations.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing.
You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.

Bachelor's degree in related field of study and 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Minimum 3 years of experience in Commercial Banking, Portfolio Management or Loan Review Experience strongly preferred;
Prior commercial workout experience preferred.
