Process Technicians

Cardinal Staffing Services is immediately hiring Process Technicians for a Plastic Injection Molding company in Defiance, OH. The Plastic Injection Molding Process Technician will manage the entire molding process including equipment set-up, reading and following specifications, and inspecting molds, and delivering finished products to end-user for delivery. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, make safety a priority, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Available shift:

Day Shift 6am - 6pm
Night Shift 6pm - 6am

Responsibilities of the Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding)

Set-up and operate injection molding machines, vision systems, down-stream equipment, and material feed equipment.
Monitor process parameters on the injection machines and secondary systems.
Safe, accurate, and timely executive of tooling changeovers per work instructions.
Set up and adjust assembly, auxiliary, and packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot molding problems including but not limited to flash, short shots, dimensional issues, etc.

Required Qualifications of the Process Technician (Plastic Injection Molding):

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
Previous plastics injection molding experience a plus.
Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
Experience reading and interpreting production specifications as a plus.
