Compensation

Pay Range: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour. The hourly rate meets or exceeds the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

  • Annual performance bonuses, quarterly prizes, or premium payments may be awarded based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
  • Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Responsibilities
  • Follow and promote all company customer service programs (Hi‑5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot, etc.).
  • Promptly greet retail/walk‑in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
  • Assist managers and installer service specialists in serving professional customers as needed.
  • Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
  • Provide excellent service to customers calling the store: answer all calls per company policy, accurately look up parts and quote prices, recommend premium and related items, and offer the Low‑Price Guarantee.
  • Maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash and/or checks, make accurate change, and process credit card transactions.
  • Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, following company policies and procedures.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.
  • Assist the completion of daily image maker and planogram updates, including freight receipt, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.
  • Prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns for shipment to the distribution center, assist with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc.
  • Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after receiving corresponding training and meeting company requirements.
  • Perform in‑store services for customers (where state and local laws allow), such as installing wipers, testing and charging batteries, testing the charging system, scanning vehicle trouble codes, and replacing headlight capsules.
  • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (Driving record must meet the company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
  • Ability to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service.
  • Ase certification.
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Desired:

  • Background in automotive parts or related sales/service roles.
  • Experience operating brake lathes and store test equipment.
  • Comfortable driving a delivery vehicle.
