Special Access Route Driver

Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until route is completed
Hours: Approximately 8 hours per day; overtime may be available based on business needs

Maumee Valley Group is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Special Access Route Driver to deliver and service vending and refreshment products at designated special-access facilities.

The driver will report to the Maumee Valley Group facility in Defiance, Ohio
, load the required product, and travel to designated customer locations, including INEOS and Nutrien
. At these locations, the driver will deliver product directly to attendants who are responsible for filling the machines.

In addition to product delivery, the driver will be responsible for servicing and filling vending machines as needed
, ensuring machines are properly stocked, clean, organized, and operating according to company standards.

Because this position involves access to special-access customer facilities, applicants must successfully complete all required background/access requirements, hair testing, and drug screening prior to employment.

• Report to the Maumee Valley Group facility in Defiance, Ohio at approximately 8:00 AM.
• Load and organize product for the day's route.
• Safely operate a company vehicle while traveling to assigned customer locations.
• Deliver product to designated attendants at INEOS, Nutrien, and other assigned facilities.
• Communicate with on-site attendants regarding product deliveries and inventory needs.
• Properly account for delivered product and maintain accurate records.
• Fill and restock vending machines when required.
• Rotate products and check expiration dates.
• Remove expired or damaged products.
• Maintain proper product organization and follow established planograms.
• Keep vending machines clean and presentable.
• Identify machine problems or maintenance issues and report them appropriately.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and work area.
• Follow all company, customer, safety, security, and facility-access procedures.
• Maintain professional and respectful relationships with customers and facility personnel.
• Complete required paperwork and/or electronic documentation accurately.
• Perform other duties related to route service and product delivery as assigned.

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation to report to the Defiance, Ohio facility.
• Ability to successfully complete required hair drug testing

• Ability to successfully complete required customer/facility access requirements.
• Strong attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to lift, carry, load, and unload product throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and repeatedly lift products and supplies.
• Previous route delivery, vending, warehouse, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must be able to successfully pass a DOT physical examination
  .
• Must be able to successfully pass a DOT drug screen/hair drug test
  , as required for the position.
• Must meet all customer and facility access requirements.

. This position requires someone who can follow established procedures, accurately deliver product, recognize when machines need attention, and maintain the standards expected at our customer facilities.

The successful candidate must understand that the job is more than simply driving and dropping off product. The driver is responsible for ensuring product gets to the appropriate attendants and stepping in to service and fill machines when needed.

• Monday–Friday
• End time varies depending on completion of the assigned route
• Most days are expected to be approximately 8 hours
• Overtime may be available
• Company vehicle provided for work-related route duties
