Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process improvements, equipment troubleshooting, and capital project execution. This hands-on role works closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting automated assembly systems and manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Improve manufacturing processes, equipment performance, and production efficiency.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and process issues related to automated assembly equipment.
• Support CAPEX projects, including equipment selection, implementation, and startup.
• Create and update engineering documentation, drawings, and models using Solid Works and AutoCAD.
• Provide technical support on the production floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, throughput, and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 3–7 years of mechanical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Solid Works experience, including 3D modeling and engineering drawings.
• Experience supporting automated equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Exposure to injection molding and/or automated assembly systems preferred.
• Experience with capital projects and equipment implementation.
• Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and continuous improvement mindset.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of DeForest, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
