You will work independently on delegated tasks under the direction of the Shop Manager. You will perform basic preventative maintenance on tools, equipment and machinery; receiving and shipping of materials, maintain orderly storage of materials and inventory levels; perform fabrication on pipe for the field; communicate regularly with field and office employees on projects; and make deliveries to jobsites throughout the Madison regional area.

You will be responsible for coordination of work flow, delegation and task completions during Shop Manager’s absence.

Qualified candidates should have prior experience working in a shop environment, comfortable driving a fork lift and be mechanically inclined. You must have a valid driver's license, clean driving record and able to successfully pass a Department of Transportation Driver Medical exam. Candidate will be regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle and manipulate objects; reach with hands and arms and regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
