Material Handler

Position:
Material Handler (4 on 4 off; 12‑hour shifts, 6pm‑6am)

DeForest, WI
Wage: $29.38/hour

• Operate forklift during routine performance of duties.
• Unload, receive, inspect, and stage raw materials, scrap dunnage, packaging materials, chemicals, and other supplies.
• Remove finished products from the production areas ensuring proper identification, banding, and labeling to meet customer specifications.
• Replenish supplies in assigned areas.
• Review warehouse production control schedule to determine duties for shipping and receiving.
• Ensure finished goods are properly documented for shipment.
• Stage and load finished goods and materials in accordance with warehouse production control schedule.
• Lift up to 50lbs. occasionally.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support and follow the guidelines of the food safety system.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• You have previous forklift experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• You are safety oriented.
• You are familiar with rules and regulations for handling LP gas tanks.
• You are familiar WITH the use of banders, stretch wrappers, and other packaging processes.
• You are able to work the assigned schedule and overtime as required.
