This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career.
The impact you'll make in this role:
- Leads 50+ production hourly employees on the 2nd shift.
- Implements process improvements in safety, quality, and productivity at the DK6 Distribution Center in DeKalb, IL.
- Determines staffing deployments and task prioritizations for the shift.
- Supports Lean Six Sigma annual cost savings goals and leads the 2nd shift crew in Lean Management System Tier meetings.
- Willingness to work 2nd shift hours (2:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.)
Your skills and expertise:
- High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start)
- Three (3) years of leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, or engineering from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years of experience in distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing in a private, public, government or military environment
- Skills include public speaking, conflict resolution, time management, team building, data analysis, Microsoft Office Suite, and knowledge of all warehouse processes.

The expected compensation range for this position is $84,595 - $103,394, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
