Logistics Project Manager

Our client, a leader in logistics and distribution, is seeking a Logistics Project Manager to join their team. As a Logistic Project Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the distribution network. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

$30 to $50 p/h on W-2
Duration: 12 month contract

• Lead automation and capital projects from concept through implementation, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and meet business objectives.
• Develop and manage project charters, schedules, budgets, resource plans, risk registers, and executive status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, IT, Maintenance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and external vendors.
• Manage installation, commissioning, and startup activities for automation and capital equipment.
• Support implementation of warehouse automation technologies such as ASRS, AMRs, robotics, conveyor systems, and WES.

• Strong knowledge of Project Management fundamentals, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling systems, and supply chain processes.
• Experience implementing automation technologies within manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.
