Exciting Opportunity with Pedia Staff:
Full-time School Occupational Therapist OT in the DeKalb, IL area for FMLA coverage
Pedia Staff is a trusted leader in pediatric therapy and educational staffing solutions, connecting passionate professionals with rewarding school-based and clinic opportunities since 2004. We' re currently seeking a Full-Time, School Occupational Therapist ($50-56/hour) to support students in the De Kalb , IL for FMLA coverage

Qualifications:
- Bachelor' s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- IL OT license
- Previous school experience or experience in pediatrics is preferred, fieldwork counts
- Mentorship available for New Grads, training and support throughout your assignment
As an OT, you will support students in school settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically.
This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Job Details:
- Orientation dates: 8/3/26 & 8/4/26
- First Day of Work: 8/31/26
- Last Day of Work: 10/27/26
- In-person only
- 1 Full-time position available, FMLA Coverage
- Age Ranges:
Elementary School students:
Resource and self-contained
- Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
- Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
- Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.
