Candidates with prior experience in schools or pediatrics, as well as a strong background in sensory integration or individualized goal-setting for school-aged children, will thrive in this setting.
Desired Qualifications- Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois
- Demonstrated experience in a pediatric or school-based environment
- Knowledge of sensory integration techniques
- Proficiency in creating and tracking individualized student goals and progress notes
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in both general and special education classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers and education staff to develop effective intervention plans
- Evaluate student needs and document measurable outcomes
- Participate in team meetings, contributing professional insights to support student development
