This fulfilling opportunity involves working during the academic calendar at two local sites, providing a blend of general education, resource classroom, and some self-contained special education support. Full-time schedules are set at 37.5 hours per week, though skilled part-time practitioners will be thoughtfully considered.

Expect a structured environment with one site per day and no mid-day campus travel required, fostering seamless collaboration with students and educators. Interviews are currently being conducted via Zoom for the upcoming school year, making this an ideal moment to take the next step in your OT career.

Candidates with prior experience in schools or pediatrics, as well as a strong background in sensory integration or individualized goal-setting for school-aged children, will thrive in this setting.

• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of Illinois
• Demonstrated experience in a pediatric or school-based environment
• Knowledge of sensory integration techniques
• Proficiency in creating and tracking individualized student goals and progress notes

• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in both general and special education classrooms
• Collaborate with teachers and education staff to develop effective intervention plans
• Evaluate student needs and document measurable outcomes
• Participate in team meetings, contributing professional insights to support student development
