City of DeKalb is seeking a part-time Community Service Officer (CSO) to support the Police Department with non-emergency services and public safety duties. The CSO works 15–20 hours weekly under supervision of the Police Commander and may perform administrative tasks as assigned.
The starting rate is $23.34 per hour with a full range from $23.34 to $38.85 per hour. Responsibilities include traffic control, parking enforcement, animal control, and assisting officers during community events.
