Overview

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Deputy of the Office of Research and Child Well-Being and the supervision of the Continuous Quality Improvement ( CQI ) Coordinator, the Data and Evaluation Specialist supports the Intensive Placement Stabilization ( IPS ) program by ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. This role strengthens IPS’s capacity to monitor fidelity, assess outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.

The Data and Evaluation Specialist ensures that data-driven decision-making is embedded into IPS program operations, aligning with DCFS and the office of Research and Child Well-Being’s vision, well-being goals, values and theory of change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Data Collection, Management, and Analysis
  • Collect, validate, and maintain 3C program and provider data, fidelity measures, and complete contract monitoring activities to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess program outcomes, case progression, family and youth well-being, and stability where applicable
  • Generate dashboards and performance reports for internal use and external partners
  • Translate data findings into actionable insights that guide program improvement and decision-making
Program Evaluation and CQI Support
  • Collaborate with the CQI Coordinator to design and implement evaluation strategies specific to 3C
  • Monitor fidelity and program performance through ongoing data review and analysis
  • Provide feedback to 3C staff, providers, and partners on outcome trends and improvements
  • Support the development of fidelity measurement tools and evaluation frameworks
Partner Engagement and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with 3C providers, coordinators, and other DCFS / CWCA staff to ensure timely and accurate data reporting
  • Integrate partner and individuals with lived experience feedback into evaluation and reporting processes
  • Present findings and actively participate in CQI and implementation meetings
