Maintenance Technician

Job Title

Maintenance Technician (2nd shift 4:30pm - 2:30am)

This position is responsible for carrying out preventative and predictive maintenance on industrial machinery, to improve up-time and efficiencies, and support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives that align with company goals.

• Mechanical repair of equipment
• Lubricate machines
• Participates in continuous improvement and special projects
• Assists in documenting repair and preventive maintenance procedures
• Basic math skills and problem-solving mentality
• Required to drive forklift

• H.S. Diploma / GED
• 3-5 yrs + maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Experience with welding
• Experience with electrical work
• 3-5 yrs + industrial electrical experience
• 3+ yrs power tools experience

• Ability to read and interpret written instructions/procedures
• Ability to understand preventive maintenance schedules

• Intermediate shop math required

• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation
• Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions

• Advanced level of knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

• Exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs of force frequently and/or up to 20 lbs of force constantly to move objects
• Seeing, hearing, talking
• Reading, writing
• Reaching, stooping, kneeling
• Carrying up to 50 lbs
• Lifting up to 75 lbs
