Under direction of department supervisor and operators, move material within department to and from departments using forklift, crane etc.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Safety Oriented
* Identify, locate and move material to and from stock locations in a safe and productive manner through the use of standard forklift and overhead crane equipment.
* Perform daily forklift operator's safety/maintenance checklist.
* This job will include other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed above are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* 6-12 months experience
* Ability to communicate with others both written and verbally
LANGUAGE SKILLS
* Ability to communicate, read and write in English
MATHEMATICAL
SKILLS:
* Ability to count and do basic arithmetic
REASONING ABILITY
* Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator
COMPUTER SKILLS
* Ability to operate scale equipment and use a calculator
