Tool Cycle Counter Position Summary

Cycle counts inventory and performs data entry.

• Accurate data entry skills a must.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Perform cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.

• H.S. Diploma a must plus equivalent work experience.
• Basic inventory concepts.
• 1-2 years working in inventory control environment preferred.

• Ability to read, write and speak in English.
• Has regular contact with departments, employees and managers at all levels of the internal organization.
• Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.

Basic math skills – addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Demonstrate problem solving ability.

Think in a logical way to solve problems and come to a conclusion. Decision making ability is a must.

High proficiency with computers, including Excel and Word. Understanding of MRP/ERP systems. Ability to learn D365 system.

The work environment is a manufacturing plant office with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high‑traffic, heavy machinery manufacturing plant. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM (may vary by area in department). The job requires overtime. Work hours may change at management’s discretion with prior notice.
