Assistant Director of Nursing | ADON | RN

Overview

Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON | RN) at Bethany Rehabilitation and Health Care Center. You will support and carry out the administration and management of Nursing Services for residents, in accordance with physicians' orders and the total needs of residents. In partnership with the Director of Nursing (DON), you will supervise Nursing Services 24 hours a day and direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care in accordance with current Federal, State, and Company standards, guidelines, and regulations.

In the absence of the DON, you assume responsibility for clinical operations.

• Support and manage Nursing Services for residents in accordance with orders and resident needs.
• Provide 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services in collaboration with the Director of Nursing (DON).
• Direct the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care per applicable laws and company standards.
• Assume clinical operations in the DON’s absence.

• Currently licensed as an RN in the state where practicing
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
• Prior experience in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
