Quality Control Technician Make an Impact Where Accuracy Matters

What You’ll Do- Perform detailed 3‑way matching on inbound and outbound orders—verifying physical product, system data, and documentation align perfectly
- Inspect shipments by reviewing bills of lading, labels, and lot codes to ensure complete accuracy
- Use tablets and digital systems to track, document, and update quality data in real time
- Identify discrepancies quickly and take action—including stopping shipments when necessary to prevent errors
- Partner with operations, shipping, and receiving to resolve issues and keep processes moving efficiently
- Apply GMP, HACCP, and food safety principles during inspections and documentation review
- Support QC inspections, testing, and record‑keeping to maintain full product traceability
- Proactively contribute ideas to improve processes and strengthen overall quality performance
- A sharp eye for detail and the confidence to call out discrepancies and protect quality standards
- Strong math and verification skills for counting, matching, and validating data
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, lot codes, and quality records
- Comfort working with digital tools, tablets, and Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills—you can collaborate and elevate issues professionally
- Either a degree in a scientific/technical field or hands‑on experience in quality, manufacturing, or supply chain environments
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, or food safety is a strong plus

This role moves between ambient and refrigerated areas, giving you variety in your day. You’ll work closely with multiple teams, staying active on the floor while also using digital tools to manage data.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of DeKalb, IL.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00‑$24.00/hr.
