Position Summary
This positionisresponsibleforinstalls,troubleshooting and repairsofelectrical equipment inan industrial manufacturing setting. The Maintenance Technicianperformspreventive maintenance on machinery, interprets schematics, and ensures all systems comply with safety codes and local regulations. It is a highly hands-on role requiring strong problem-solving and diagnosticskillsthatsupportcompany goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES ANDOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mechanical/Electrical repair of equipmentandmachines.
- Repair or replace defective electrical components, wiring, and hardware
- Diagnose electrical malfunctions, short circuits, and faulty wiring using diagnostic tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
- Assemble and install new electrical wiring, conduits, and equipment
- Must have the ability to read electrical schematics and prints
- Conduct routine inspections on generators, motors, circuit breakers, and control panels to prevent future equipment failures
- Keep accurate logs of routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Basic math skills and problem-solving mentality
- Required to drive forklift

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE:
- H.S Diploma/ GED
- 10yrs +Maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Experience with Welding
- 10+Experience with electrical work(Industrial)
- 10+ yrs power tools experience
- Ability to read and interpret written instructions/procedures
- Ability to understand preventative maintenance schedules
- Intermediate shop math required
- Apply rational understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
- Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation.
- Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions.
- Intermediate level of knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
- Exerting up to100lbs of force occasionally, and/or up to 50lbs offorce frequently and or up to20lbs of force constantly to move objects.

- Reaching, stooping, kneeling
- Carry up to50lbs
- Lifting up to 75lbs
- Standing for long periods of time

The employee works in a manufacturing plant environment with normal exposure to noise, dust, and hazards associated with working in a high traffic, heavy machinery, manufacturing plant.
Work hours are generally
Monday through Friday from4pm-2ambut may vary somewhat by plant. Work hours may change at Management's discretion with prior notice. Occasional travel may be required.
