Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring Permanent Full Time Warehouse Forklift Operators in Dekalb, Illinois.
Pay & Schedule- Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour
- Additional Pay: $2.50 per hour for E Shift
- Schedule:
Three-and-a-half day workweek; E Shift: Wednesdays 11:15pm‑5:15am and Thursday‑Saturday 5:15pm‑4:45am

Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one (1) year related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Team player able to work within a diverse environment
- Creates and maintains professional relationships at all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Highly thorough and dependable
- Punctual with a good attendance record
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Possesses a high degree of initiative
- Demonstrates high accuracy even under pressure
- Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
- Can stand for long periods
- Works using health and safety methods
- Available to work flexible schedule across various shifts
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Carry out duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
- Perform other duties as assigned
