Warehouse Associate

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Dekalb, Illinois. The role involves handling candy products in a temperature‑controlled facility with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.

Hourly pay: $20.30 per hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid Forklift Operator's License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in a diverse environment
• High degree of initiative and accuracy
• Good attendance record
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Flexible schedule/work shift availability

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading
• Manage documentation: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system
• Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Perform other duties as assigned
