Forklift Operator

Position Description

Material Handler in Dekalb, Illinois. Weekly pay with benefits.

• Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  B Shift Wednesday 11:15 AM‑5:15 PM;
  Thursday‑Saturday 5:15 AM‑4:45 PM

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator’s license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Professional relationships across all organizational levels
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with good attendance record
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Lift or push/pull up to 35 lb, stand for long periods
• Follow health and safety methods
• Flexible schedule across shifts
• Detail oriented with follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, loading, unloading
• Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hours
• Other duties as assigned
