Warehouse Material Handler

Position Overview

Permanent Full‑time Warehouse Material Handler – Dekalb, Illinois (Immediate hire). Pay is $20.30 per hour and is paid weekly. This role involves operating a forklift and performing general warehouse duties.

• Loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading.
• Managing day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Providing technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours.
• Maintaining performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Must be available for a flexible schedule on various work shifts.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, and maintain a good attendance record.
• Independent work with minimal supervision.
• High initiative and accurate work under pressure.
• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to work using health and safety methods.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various shifts.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Must be able to work within a diverse work environment.
