Material Handler - B Shift

Position Overview

Position Title:

Material Handler (Warehouse/Forklift Operator) in Dekalb, Illinois.

Pay: $20.30 per hour with weekly pay.

Schedule:

B Shift Wednesday 11:15 AM – 5:15 PM;
Thursday – Saturday 5:15 AM – 4:45 PM.

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines outlined in the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products for loading and unloading trucks.
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator’s license.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
• High degree of initiative and accuracy, even under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and use health and safety methods.
• Available to work flexibly on various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
