Warehouse Material Handler

Position Overview

Permanent Full Time Warehouse Material Handler in Dekalb, Illinois.

Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator's License certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Team‑player attitude within a diverse work environment
• Professional relationship building across all levels (peers, supervisors, customers)
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Punctual with a good attendance record
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision
• High initiative and accuracy, even under pressure
• Can lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Can stand for long periods
• Works safely using established safety methods
• Available for flexible scheduling and various work shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Complete duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
