Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Responsibilities)- Create, prepare, and distribute various reports in Powerschool.
- Enrollment/Withdrawal of students; prepare withdrawal notices for students who move or drop out.
- Supervise and complete preparation and transmittal of transcripts and other official documents; prepare report cards, school honor roll and awards; keep student information updated in the computer.
- Sort and distribute inter-office and U.S. mail; distribute mail and community/district flyers.
- Compile requested grade checks on students.
- Organize and maintain various files, including confidential student files; maintain student insurance and accident report files.
- Residency Verification.
- Promote overall effectiveness of the organization by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities during peak periods or overloads.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- High school diploma or GED
- Related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Language and grammar:
Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; able to compose and write grammatically correct correspondence and memos.
Reasoning:
Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in various forms.
The role requires regular use of hands, standing, walking, climbing, reaching, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Visual acuity requirements apply.
Work EnvironmentWork may involve exposure to fumes or airborne particles, varying noise levels, and conditions such as extreme weather and potential electrical hazards.
Supervisory ResponsibilitiesEmployee may occasionally supervise a varying number of employees as assigned.
