Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Overview

TNAA Total Med Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Del Rio, Texas. This is a 13‑week assignment with 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shifts. The right candidate should have at least 1 year of experience (6 months acceptable for an exceptional candidate) and be prepared for immediate travel openings.

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to diverse patient populations.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, disabilities, and traumatic events.
• Report progress and status to appropriate parties including family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

• Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged.
• Board certification: BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification.
• State‑specific licensing required.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

ASHA, BLS, 2 Years. Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
