YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTSAs the Play Club Associate, you’ll be key to ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience. You are responsible for caring for children, ensuring a safe, clean, and fun environment, and executing the department club’s guidelines. You provide general job duties as well as exceptional customer service, create an environment of hospitality and luxury, and consistently demonstrate a positive, professional attitude.
WhatYour Day Will Look Like
Hours are 7:30 am–12:00 pm Monday through Saturday.
- Care for children ages four months through twelve years
- Provide a safe, clean environment including sanitizing toys and play areas, checking and changing diapers, picking up toys, and wiping down tables and counters
- Ensure the entire childcare space is supervised and that every zone with a child is staffed
- Ensure that all items on the opening and closing operations checklists are completed
- Greet parents and children with a smile; invite children to join activities
- Engage children; ensure all children are engaged, with special focus on older, shy and/or bored children; comfort and assist crying children
- Organize and implement age‑appropriate activities such as craft time and story time
- Treat children with responsive respectfulness, i.e., coach vs. scold, discuss behavior tactfully and out of reach of a child’s hearing
- Communicate timely and follow up as appropriate
- Participate actively in events, programs, meetings and training
- Represent the club professionally through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow‑through and response
- Schedule may vary and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings
- Enforce all club policies and procedures
- Accurately record each day
- Promote the company’s safety goals and actively work toward ensuring a safe working environment
- Interpret and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Make professional development a consistent priority
- Minimum one year of experience caring for children in a daycare or babysitting environment
- Knowledge of company policies
- Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities. Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills. Enthusiastic, responsible and dependable team player. Well organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to spot potential problems and apply general rules to specific problems to produce logical, practical solutions. Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems and considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
- Ability to read, understand and communicate information and ideas in writing so that others will understand.
- Ability to understand and communicate so others can understand ideas and information.
- U.S. Work Authorization (required).
